Indiana Approves Licensure for OTs
Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels signed legislation on May 8 that upgrades the state's certification law to licensure and makes other updates to the state's occupational therapy practice act. Leaders of the Indiana Occupational Therapy Association have worked for more than 5 years to get this legislation passed.

Evidence BYTE: Clinical Practice Guidelines for Post-Stroke Rehabilitation Available
A special issue of Topics in Stroke Rehabilitation (2006: Volume 13, Number 2) features the "Ottawa Panel Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Guidelines for Post-Stroke Rehabilitation." The Ottawa Systematic Review Group, including occupational therapist Mary Egan, addressed 13 categories of post-stroke intervention. A summary is available.
