Capitol Hill Day a Huge Success! 
On September 17, 120 occupational therapy practitioners and students gathered in Washington, DC, for the largest Capitol Hill Day event in AOTA's history. There, they met with members of Congress to advocate for occupational therapy's contribution to health and wellness.

AOTA Takes Action on Medicare Physician Fee Schedule 
AOTA submitted detailed comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services addressing policy issues in the proposed rule on the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS), including therapy qualifications and requirements, the outpatient therapy cap limits, physician quality reporting, physician self-referral, and comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation facility issues.
