How secure is AOTA's Store?
AOTA uses the latest technology to protect your credit card information and
does not release it to any outside organization. You can place your orders using
SSL encryption (the Internet standard for secure transactions).
As reported in a recent Knight-Ridder News Service article (which appeared in
the Philadelphia Inquirer), "In 1997, there were no reports of credit-card
information stolen on the World Wide Web during a transfer of information over a
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) line, the kind of line used by Netscape Navigator and
Microsoft Explorer. There were no slip-ups. None."
Your order information and purchase history are protected by a password that
you set. If you forget your password, we will first verify your identity and
then email your password to the email address you have listed in your AOTA
Online Store account.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit Cards
The AOTA online store accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for payment of orders.
Purchase Orders
Purchase orders are not accepted online, however customers can order products
using a Purchase Order. All Purchase Orders must be for $40 or more in order to
be billed on a net 30 basis, provided customers credit is in "good
standing". Orders under $40 require payment.

Will I have to pay sales tax?
Tax is charged to residents of the state of Maryland (6%).
There is no tax charged to residents of the state of Maryland on Continuing Education
products ONLY.
What are the shipping and handling charges?
AOTA determines shipping based on weight. Please call 877-404-2682 for exact shipping rates.
What shipping methods are available?
The products ordered online are shipped from our warehouse (BrightKey) in Maryland.
Products are shipped via UPS.
Sorry, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
*Required signature has been waived unless AOTA is notified 877-404-AOTA.
How quickly will I receive my order?
Online orders are received and processed on the next business day. Orders placed
on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays will be processed on the next business day.
U.S. customers will then receive orders within 2 weeks, Canadian Customers 2 weeks,
and other countries 3 weeks.
What is your return policy?
If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase,
return it within 30 days of the invoice date for a full refund on the price of the
product(s). For Continuing Education products, please see section below for details
and course-specific policies. No refunds are issued after 90 days. Shipping and handling charges
are not refundable. Items must be returned in saleable condition. Items returned
between 30 and 90 day are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

CONTINUING EDUCATION PRODUCTS
CONTINUING EDUCATION RETURN POLICY
Please review CE course descriptions and learning objectives carefully before you
place your order. All continuing education product returns are charged 10% of the
price of the product as an administrative fee regardless of the return date, with
the exception of damaged products and products that were incorrectly shipped.
Incorrectly shipped products must be returned in resalable condition with no seals
open, broken, or tampered with. No refunds are issued after 90 days. Shipping and
handling charges are not refundable. These policies do not apply to bookstores.

• Online Courses, CE Article Online Exams, and Webcasts—Cancellations or refunds
are not available once they have been accessed.
• CEonCDs—All returns except those due to damage or defect must be in resalable
condition with no seals open, broken, or tampered with. Defective CDs will be replaced
with a new copy. To receive a replacement copy, an email must be sent to cedept@aota.org
to determine that it is not an accessibility issue. If determined to be defective, then
mail the CEonCD in its original envelope, marked “Return,” and address it to AOTA Products,

SPCC RETURN POLICY
Please review your selected SPCC course description and learning objectives carefully before
you place your order. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return
the product within 90 days. An administrative fee of 10% of the product price will be charged
